
Rosa Trenado began her studying under Master Donald Hamby in 1995. After a decade of diligent practice and participation in tournaments, Rosa was bestowed instructor. Over three decades, she has achieved feats that she once deemed beyond her capabilities.
Rosa has emerged victorious in numerous Grand championships, triumphing over Formidable opponents, instilling a profound sense of fulfillment within her. The notion of defeat is simply not in her illustrious career, has significantly contributed to the promotion of the Lam Family Hung Gar Tiger/Crane system.
Rosa has also accompanied Master Donald Hamby on numerous journeys to Hong Kong and China, where she had an opportunity to meet the legendary Great-Master Lam Cho. Furthermore, she has been fortunate enough to receive private instruction from Grand Master Lam Chun Fai, specifically in the art of the eight-diagram pole set, the long weapon division, empty hand forms two-man pre-arranged fight sets, and full-contact fighting.
Rosa also had the honor of being featured in the renowned kung fu documentary, “The Black Kung Fu Experience in the Martial Arts,” by Martha Burr. Additionally, she collaborated on the authorship of an article entitled “Gung Gee Fook Fu” for Inside Kung Fu Magazine.
Sifu Rosa Trenado is honored and delighted to collaborate in presenting the unique book Tiger/Crane Two-man fighting techniques passed down by legendary Great Grand Master Lam Cho the nephew of Grand Master Lam Sai Wing.
